Azerbaijan Sends New Humanitarian Aid Consisting of Energy Equipment to Ukraine
On October 30, Vladislav Kanevsky, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, announced on his Facebook page that another batch of energy equipment, purchased with 7.6 million US dollars allocated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, had been sent to Ukraine.
The ambassador said that the equipment sent by Azerbaijan will help the Ukrainian energy industry to provide heat, electricity and water to hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian households and to supply energy to thousands of Ukrainian enterprises and businesses. "The Russian authorities do not stop for a single day the criminal large-scale bombing of Ukrainian towns and villages, hospitals and schools, and continue the mass murder of children, women and the elderly. With the onset of cold weather, Russian war criminals are preparing plans for new attacks on Ukraine's energy system," Kanevsky noted.
According to him, support for Ukraine's energy industry is an undeniable manifestation of the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership. "This support will give us determination and help us win. We thank the leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan for this important help! Long live Ukraine! Long live Azerbaijan!" said the Ambassador.
