On March 11, the annual dinner of the Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF) took place at the Hôtel du Collectionneur in Paris, bringing together members of the French government, political party leaders, parliamentarians, diplomats, journalists, actors, and artists.

French Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau spoke on behalf of the government, emphasizing the significance of the Armenian issue. He described the dinner as "a meeting of friendship and loyalty" and noted that his commitment to the Armenian cause is "physical." Referring to Armenia as a sister nation, he quoted Anatole France:

"The international community has often lacked the courage to defend Armenia. In any case, France has always stood by Armenia, in its own way."

The Minister also highlighted the various partnerships between France and Armenia.

Retailleau further expressed deep concern over the fate of Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan, stating:

"My thoughts are with the 23 people today, including Reuben, who are risking their health and lives for the values they believe in. I am thinking of them and hope that my words today will reach the borders of Azerbaijan and that the captives will be released."
