The volume of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) supplied from Russia to Georgia from January to June 2023 increased by 43.4% compared to the same indicator in 2022. These are the data of the Union of Petroleum Products Importers of Georgia.

For six months, LPG imports amounted to 25.24 thousand tons, which is 7.64 thousand tons (43.4%) more than in 2022. Among all imported liquefied gas, 99.6% (25.13 thousand tons) were delivered from the Russian Federation.

Imports of petroleum bitumen over the six months increased by 45.5% compared to the same period in 2022, amounting to 54.7 thousand tons. Most of the bitumen was supplied from Russia - 46.6% (25.5 thousand tons), Iraq is second with 29.1% (15.9 thousand tons), Turkey is third with 21.7% (11.9 thousand tons).
