On November 30, Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili visited Bucharest, Romania, for the NATO Foreign Ministerial. He attended a meeting of the NATO Foreign Ministers. He discussed this with Bisera Turković, the Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting with NATO Foreign Ministers, NATO partners decided to scale up customized support for Georgia, Moldova, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, including capacity-building, reform, and training to better their security and military institutions.

FM Darchiashvili stressed the paramount importance of Georgia's participation in the NATO Foreign Ministers' conference. Given the present security situation, the high-level political and strategic engagement between NATO and Georgia continues at the Bucharest Meeting.

Ilia Darchiashvili commended the Ministerial's actions, particularly the statement issued by NATO's foreign ministers reiterating their support for the Open Door Policy and the resolutions reached at the Bucharest Summit in 2008.
