North Ossetia Claims it Downed Three Ukrainian UAVs Near Military Airfield
On June 8, Sergey Menyaylo, the Head of North Ossetia, announced that three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) had been shot down by air defense forces in Mozdok.
"Preliminary information suggests that the UAVs originated from the Ukrainian side, with their intended target being a military airfield," he stated.
Menyaylo urged against the sharing of photos and videos from the site of the downed Ukrainian UAVs in Mozdok and the operation of air defense systems.
"I will explain why this should not be done: visual material from drone attack sites facilitates the enemy's ability to strategize their operations further, potentially exposing the locations of Defense Ministry forces and security systems guarding vital strategic assets," Menyaylo cautioned.
