In his message, Aliyev thanked Trump for highlighting comments the Azerbaijani leader had made at the Shusha Global Media Forum. These remarks concerned the US-Azerbaijan partnership and Trump’s dedication to a global and regional peace agenda.

President Aliyev further emphasized his country's support for Trump’s vision. "Once again, I wish to underscore our support for President Trump’s vision and efforts to promote peace and stability around the world, including in our region," he stated. The Azerbaijani leader also noted that there are shared values between Azerbaijan and the US, such as the importance of family traditions. He expressed his hope that these bilateral relations would deepen during Trump’s presidency. "We wish him continued success in all his endeavors toward this goal," Aliyev concluded.
