Turkey will appoint defence industry adviser to Azerbaijan
The post of defence industry adviser is being created at the Turkish embassy in Azerbaijan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed a relevant decision.
According to the decision, the defence industry adviser will assess the processes and similar issues related to the defence industry in the country where he works, prepare reports, and inform the Turkish Defence Industry Administration.
A Defence Industry Advisory Board will be established and the appointments will be made at Turkish embassies in 9 countries.
Defence industry advisers will work at the embassies of Baku, Azerbaijan; Doha, Qatar; Islamabad, Pakistan; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Jakarta, Indonesia; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Muscat, Oman; Dhaka, Bangladesh; and London, UK.
Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan are also included in the service area of the Defence Industry Adviser in Azerbaijan.
