Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Says Armenia Not Considering Leaving CSTO
On November 26, Mnatsakan Safaryan, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, stated that Armenia is not currently considering leaving the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). Addressing Yerevan's policy of not participating in CSTO summits while not obstructing the adoption of documents, Safaryan emphasized that "Armenia conducts its foreign policy based on its interests, in accordance with the current situation. Armenia's balancing policy has been announced, and decisions are being made within its framework". When asked whether leaving the CSTO is on the Foreign Ministry's agenda, Safaryan said, "We haven't set such a goal yet. If such a development occurs, everyone will know about it".
