Dagestan Launches Russia’s Largest Wind Farm

On December 1, Sergey Melikov, the Head of Dagestan, stated that Rosatom's Novolakskaya wind farm, the largest project of its kind in Russia, had been launched. The first phase has been commissioned, including 61 wind turbines with a total capacity of over 150 MW. Once all turbines are operational, the facility's total capacity will reach 300 MW. Melikov emphasized that the project contributes to reducing the energy deficit and enhancing the region's energy potential.
