
De-facto Karabakh Units Hand Over Weapons to Azerbaijani Side

The information released by the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Defense Ministry in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone on September 22 stated that since the signing of the agreement on the cessation of hostilities, two violations of the ceasefire have been registered in the Asgaran region. "There were no casualties or injuries," the information said.
"In accordance with the agreements reached on the cessation of hostilities, the armed units of Karabakh have begun to hand over weapons and military equipment under the supervision of Russian peacekeepers. As of September 22, six armored vehicles, more than 800 units of small arms and anti-tank weapons and about 5,000 rounds of ammunition have been handed over," the information said.
The report also says that Russian peacekeepers have ensured the delivery of humanitarian goods to the civilian population of Karabakh through the Lachin corridor and the Aghdam road. In total, more than 50 tons of food have been delivered. The Russian peacekeeping contingent reported that 826 civilians, including 440 children, were unable to return to their homes.
