
Defense Ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia Meet in Kars

On February 1, defense ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, Hulusi Akar, Zakir Hasanov, and Juansher Burchuladze met in Kars, the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey reported.
According to the information, during the meeting, ideas were exchanged regarding military training and cooperation, and regional events.
Ministers Akar, Hasanov, and Burchuladze also participated in the "High-Level Observer Day" of the "Winter Exercise - 2023" international exercise held in Turkey on February 2.
Interestingly, on January 31, the Turkish Ministry of Defense reported that armored units of Turkey and Azerbaijan tested the maneuverability of heavy equipment during exercises near the Turkish city of Kars.
Earlier, the defense ministers of three countries met in Kayseri on December 21, 2022.
