EU Monitoring Mission in Armenia Expands Staff Number
On June 21, it was reported on the EU Eastern Partnership program portal that The European Union Monitoring Mission in Armenia (EUMA) announced recruitment for 23 positions.
Vacancies are open in the Office of the Chief of Mission, Chief of Staff, Operations, Security and Maintenance, and Mission Support. Contracts are calculated until February 2025.
Most jobs are in Yeghegnadzor, Jermuk, Martuni, Goris, Ijevan and Kapan.
It should be reminded that since February 20 this year, the European Union has deployed a long-term civilian mission in Armenia consisting of 100 observers. One of its declared goals is to promote stability in the border regions of Armenia. The first mission was deployed on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in October-December last year after a large-scale escalation in the region on September 13-14. A German federal police officer led the EU mission.
