
Iran Promises Maximum Protection to Azerbaijani Embassy

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said that his country would provide maximum protection to the Azerbaijani embassy.
Kanaani noted: "The Azerbaijani Embassy will be protected as much as possible, and we hope to see the opening of the embassy shortly."
The Iranian diplomat added: "The trip of [Foreign Minister] Amir Abdollahian was aimed at participating in the Non-Aligned Movement: Taking into account the importance of bilateral relations, constructive and very positive talks were held with the President of Azerbaijan."
Nasser Kanaani noted that Iran understands its obligations regarding the security of the diplomatic corps and acts responsibly.
