No Increase in Russian Gas Prices for Armenia Next Year

On December 15, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said that the cost of natural gas imported from Russia to Armenia will not change in 2024, and accordingly, the tariff for local consumers will not change either.
"We have precise information that the gas price at the border will not change in 2024. And I am sure that according to this, the tariff (for consumers) will not be changed either," Grigoryan noted. According to him, Gazprom Armenia has already signed a contract with Gazprom for 2024, which does not envisage changes in the price of blue fuel.
Russian gas on the border with Armenia costs $165 per 1000 cubic meters. Only Belarus and Kyrgyzstan currently receive cheaper energy carriers from Russia.
