On July 25, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral relations, regional developments, and the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process. Macron once again congratulated Pashinyan on his victory in the parliamentary elections and wished him success in his future activities. The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the Armenia-France strategic partnership and expanding cooperation across various areas.

Pashinyan thanked Macron for France’s continued support for Armenia’s democratic reform agenda and emphasized the importance of further developing trade and economic ties. He also highlighted the need to expand Armenia’s export opportunities and deepen economic cooperation between the two countries.

The discussions also covered the development of the Armenia-European Union partnership, as well as regional and international issues. Regarding the South Caucasus, Pashinyan and Macron emphasized the importance of achieving sustainable and lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
