Russian Official: "Pashinyan Follows Footsteps of Zelenskyy"

On October 18, a high-ranking source in Moscow told TASS that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is actively following in the footsteps of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"We regard Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's speech in the European Parliament on October 17 as absolutely irresponsible and provocative, especially as far as Russia and Russian-Armenian relations are concerned," the source added. "We can see how Armenia is trying to turn into Ukraine No. 3 [previous ones – Moldova and Ukraine], and Pashinyan is following Zelenskyy's path".
On the same day, Sargis Khandanyan, the head of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, told reporters in Yerevan that experts on Russian state channels are calling for a change of power in Armenia.
"If you closely follow the rhetoric in several foreign media outlets, particularly the opinions of journalists and experts on Russian state channels, you will be convinced that they call on the people of Armenia to take to the streets, to change the government, which is not their business," Khandanyan said.
