Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Explore Joint Projects in Oil and Gas Industry
On July 17, representatives of Uzbekneftegaz, the state-owned oil and gas company of Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan’s Master Tools held discussions on expanding bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. During the meeting, the two sides addressed prospects for equipment supply, localization of production, and the adoption of modern technological solutions tailored to the needs of the oil and gas industry. Uzbekneftegaz stated that the discussions focused on developing industrial cooperation and launching joint projects aimed at enhancing production efficiency and technical modernization, with particular emphasis placed on knowledge exchange and the introduction of advanced engineering solutions. As part of the presentation, Master Tools showcased an innovative welding device designed for training purposes, which operates without the need for additional electrodes or cables. Following the talks, both parties agreed to continue working on joint proposals and to identify further areas for mutually beneficial collaboration.
